I had to cut that last post short last night because the mosquitoes were driving me up the wall. Everything they say about mosquitoes on the UP is true. If you come up here, ever, do NOT forget your bug spray.

- I’m twenty-four years old; I was born August 3, 1985. I grew up in northern New Jersey and moved to New Mexico for college in 2003, at age eighteen. I graduated from the College of Santa Fe in May 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in creative writing with a concentration in poetry, fiction and nonfiction with a minor in journalism. Since 2006 I have worked at the Santa Fe Reporter, an alternative weekly newspaper, as a writer and editor. I am currently renting a small studio casita from a friend in the town of Madrid, New Mexico, about twenty-six miles south of Santa Fe. I have a 5-year-old pit bull, Blake, and a 2-year-old cat, Cedric.
