The Cherohala Skyway, which runs from Tennessee to North Carolina, is a beautiful road - in the daytime. But Patrick and I drove it at dusk in the rain and fog (this would be Monday, May 3). It was still pretty awesome.

That sign says 5,235, I believe.
This is what we were driving through pretty much the whole time, on a road full of turns, sheer cliffs and switchbacks. Well, I say "we," and I mean "Patrick."
The last picture I was able to get before it got too dark... amazing.
